Healthy Plants All Year Long

Monitor microbes for
plant health and food safety

Our process is built with the help of growers for growers

We use PCR, next-generation sequencing, and machine learning to detect and monitor plant and human pathogens in hydroponic systems.

Our technology detects nearly 600 plant pathogens and human pathogens consisting of bacteria, fungi, oomycetes (water mould), and non-fungal eukaryotes. Our curated in-house database of pathogens based on common pathogens we are seeing in hydroponic samples collected. This allows us to offer you a service using a database with relevant and current pathogen information found from real farms. Our database and process improve as we understand more about the hydroponic systems from the samples we receive from growers.

Our microbiome surveillance, Pathogen+, combines pathogen detection with environmental metadata to provide a composite analysis over a crop cycle or period of time in a hydroponic system. Pathogen+ can help growers track changes in the pathogens and microbiome during research and trials in their hydroponic systems.

Submit samples

Identify the plant pathogens and human pathogens in your hydroponic system and crops' root surfaces. We offer single-time point detection or we can track microbiome changes over time.

How We Started

We sampled 13 hydroponic farms and 14 crop varieties in Canada to build a pathogen detection and microbiome monitoring service for growers.
